Superseding NetBeans Platform Status Line Element Providers
When you've included the Plain Editor modules, so that you can for example create basic code completion (as discussed here in this blog), you automatically end up with status line elements, which maybe you don't want.
Here's how to fix that:

Duplicate of duplicate of B2D
I need a solution
I have an external backup drive that contains a duplicate job run off a B2D job, both done using Backup Exec 2010. I now need to connect the drive to a second server and duplicate it again onto tape.
I am using Backup Exec 12.5 for this final step, but I can't for the life of me figure out a procedure to do it, or to even be sure it can be done. I would prefer to back up directly from the external to the tape, as space is an issue. But if there is no other way I might be able to find room to copy it to a local drive (if that would even help).
My research has turned up nothing useful. I could really use some help on this one. Thanks

This post is one of a series of notes on Oracle VM Manager support for Oracle VM Server for SPARC (formerly named Logical Domains)
Oracle VM Manager and SPARC
As described in Oracle VM Manager support for SPARC, Oracle VM Manager with Oracle VM Server 3.2 now supports SPARC servers running Oracle VM Server for SPARC 3.0 (formerly called Logical Domains). The Manager can discover SPARC servers running the Oracle VM Server Agent, arrange them into pools of up to 32 servers, define and control virtual machines on them, and administer the storage and network resources they depend on. Administrators can control their virtual environment without having to log onto the SPARC servers' control domains to issue commands. All tasks can be performed from the web browser.
Rather than describe this in text, the best thing to do is show it in demo format. Fortunately, the wizardly Steen Schmidt has produced outstanding Youtube videos showing Oracle VM Manager in action at https://www.youtube.com/user/gandalf3100.
- Create a SPARC Server pool - illustrates creating a SPARC server pool via the GUI
- Create a Solaris 10 guest VM - a Solaris 10 guest is created, booted, and configured via the browser and a remote console on the administrator's desktop
- Hot reassign CPUs to a running Solaris guest VM - in this cool demo, CPUs are added to a running virtual machine to speed up rendering a movie clip
This neatly illustrates how you can use Oracle VM Manager to control virtual machines on SPARC. In a production deployment there would be multiple SPARC servers, and the manager could be used to fire up virtual machines on the servers and live migrate them based on administrator request or based on resource policies.
